Your privacy, in plain English
Who we are
Made by Matanah is a trading name of Matanah Ltd, company number 17019580, registered in England and Wales. Registered office: as shown on the Companies House record for company 17019580.
We decide what happens to the information on this page, which makes us the controller. Write to Tom at tom@madebymatanah.com about anything here.
What the enquiry form collects
The answers you give: your name, your business, your email and phone number, and what you tell us about your customers, your team and your plans.
We also keep which headline you saw, the page you arrived on, and any campaign tags in the link you followed. That tells us which of our adverts brought you.
If you use our form on Facebook or Instagram
Meta sends us what you type into it: your name, email, phone number, business name, website and your answers. We use it to call you and send your free snapshot.
We copy it into our customer records. If we don’t end up working together, we delete it after 12 months.
To help our ads reach the right people, we tell Meta how the enquiry went, for example that we spoke. We send a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email and phone, never your answers.
Meta’s own privacy policy covers what Meta does with your information. You can ask us to see or delete yours at any time: tom@madebymatanah.com.
Why
To read your answers, send you your free best customer snapshot, and reply to you. That’s all. You tick a box to say you’re happy for us to do that before anything is sent.
We don’t sell your answers. We don’t add you to a mailing list.
Faith
We never ask about religion, and we never decide whether to work with someone because of it. If you choose to mention your faith in an answer, we read it as part of understanding you, and that’s all.
Saving as you go
From the moment you give us your email address, your answers are saved to our server as you go, and kept on your own phone or computer too. That’s so a dropped signal or a closed app doesn’t lose them.
If you never send the form, the saved answers are deleted after 30 days.
Where it’s kept
Your answers are stored by Cloudflare in a database that runs and stores its data in the European Union.
When you send the form, we email Tom and Gemma a copy, and send you a short email to say it arrived. We also copy your enquiry into our customer record system, run for us by HighLevel, Inc. (LeadConnector and GoHighLevel), whose servers are mainly in the United States.
Meta, only if you say yes
If you press Accept on our cookie card, we use Meta’s pixel so our adverts reach people like you and we can see which ones help.
If you’ve accepted and you send the form, we tell Meta an enquiry was made. We include a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email address, phone number and name, so Meta can match it to the advert you saw. Meta can’t read the scrambled copy back into your details. Your answers themselves are never sent to Meta.
If you press Reject, nothing from Meta loads, and nothing is sent to Meta, ever, except for Facebook and Instagram form enquiries, as described above. How we use cookies.
How we count visits
We count how many people reach each question of the form, and how much of the film they watch, so we can see where each is too long. That count stores nothing on your device and keeps no IP address. It’s a tally, not a record of you.
How long we keep it
Enquiries: for as long as we are in contact and up to 24 months after our last contact. If you become a client, for the length of the engagement plus 6 years for tax records.
A form you start but don’t send is deleted after 30 days. The step counts are deleted after 13 months.
Your rights
You can ask to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Email tom@madebymatanah.com and we’ll do it.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
